Google Code
It appears that Google is going to give Sourceforge a little competition. For those of you that don’t know, Sourceforge is pretty much the only Open Source project hosting company out there. The new Google service is called Google Code project hosting or Google Code for short. Google Code didn’t appear in Google Labs which makes me wonder how many other Google goodies are being developed without the public knowledge. In the end, I am glad that a competitor to Sourceforge appeared since the Sorcefourge service constantly suffers from down time.
